I love waking up in the morning before everyone else. The house is quiet and peaceful and I can start my day with my own voice in my head instead of all the “Mom….Mom” that having 4 children brings. My birthday was a few weeks ago. It wasn’t the big 4-0 but it was the one right before that. And honestly I don’t understand how this can be. It seems like just last weekend I was riding home in my car with all my teenage friends, singing along to the radio at the top of my lungs after a night dancing in the city. My jeans are a little looser, my energy is coming back and I just feel better. But wouldn’t it be nice to have a little help?
